The Immortals of Meluha
The Immortals of Meluha (Shiva Trilogy #1) 1900 BC. In what modern historians call the Indus Valley Civilization, the people of that time knew their land as Meluha—a near-perfect empire founded centuries earlier by the legendary king Ram. Now, that once-great empire faces grave dangers. The sacred Saraswati River is slowly drying up, threatening the very survival of the Suryavanshi kingdom. At the same time, relentless attacks from the Chandravanshis and their mysterious allies, the Nagas—a feared and ostracised race with extraordinary fighting skills—push Meluha closer to collapse. Amid this chaos, an ancient prophecy speaks of a hero who will rise when darkness reaches its peak. Could that hero be Shiva, a rough and fearless Tibetan immigrant? And even if he is the chosen one… will he accept the destiny meant for him? The Immortals of Meluha by Amish Tripathi begins the epic Shiva Trilogy, a gripping tale of destiny, love, and the rise of a legend.
