50% Refund for Book Returns
When you return a book in acceptable condition within the specified rental period, you are entitled to a 50% refund of the rental amount. This refund covers the book's wear and tear, and handling costs incurred during processing.
Conditions for 50% Refund:
- •Book returned within the rental period specified in your rental agreement
- •No water damage, stains, or structural damage to the binding
- •All pages are intact and readable
- •Normal wear and tear on the book cover is acceptable
No Refund for Damaged Books
If a book is damaged during the rental period, it is considered sold. In such cases, no refund will be issued. Please handle books with care to avoid damage.
Conditions Considered as Damage (No Refund):
- •Water damage, moisture, or liquid spills
- •Torn, bent, or creased pages
- •Stains, markings, or writing inside the book
- •Broken or completely detached binding
- •Missing pages or covers
- •Dog-eared corners or excessive spine damage
Refund Process
Follow these steps to process a refund:
- 1Return the book in its original packaging to our designated return address
- 2Include your order number and rental period details with the package
- 3Our team will inspect the book within 3-5 business days of receipt
- 4If approved, your 50% refund will be credited to your original payment method
- 5Refunds typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days
Special Cases
In certain situations, additional considerations apply:
Lost Books
If a book is lost or not returned, the full replacement cost will be charged to your account. No refund will be issued.
Late Returns
Late return fees apply if books are not returned by the specified due date. Refunds will be adjusted accordingly after late fees are deducted.
